Valheim Yule Event: Start & End Date, Holiday Items, & More

With each holiday season, we're treated to a host of seasonal in-game events. Valheim is no different! Once again, the Valheim Yule event has returned, and it brings its festive bounty of limited-time items with it. Want to know what Christmas goodies you can find? Valheim Yule Event Start & End Dates

There's plenty of time to jump in and grab your seasonal loot during the Valheim Yule Event. You have from December 1 to January 6 to feel the holiday spirit in-game. Unfortunately, no new items have been added since the most recent update to the seasonal items back in 2023. As established in that update, however, the following items are still only available during the dates listed for the event.

All Valheim Yule Event Items

Except for the Yule Hat, all items are craftable at a Workbench. You don't need to discover a blueprint, defeat a boss, or scavenge any loot. Simply head to your Workbench with fairly common items such as Finewood, Fir Cones, Pine Cones, and Red Jutes and enjoy!

  • Purchasable from Haldor for 100 Coins.
  • Defense: 1
• Yule Tree
  • Increases the Comfort level of players within 10 meters by 1.
  • Craftable with Wood x10 & Fir Cone x1
• Yule Wreath
  • This item has no effects. It is solely decorative.
  • Craftable with Pine Cone x4, Red Jute x1, & Finewood x1.
• Yule Garland
  • This item has no effects. It is solely decorative.
  • Craftable with Finewood x2 & Pine Cone x1.
• Mistletoe
  • This item has no effects. It is solely decorative.
  • Craftable with Finewood x1 & Red Jute x1.
• Yuleklapp (Small)
  • This item has 1x1 item slots for storing other items.
  • Craftable with Finewood x2 & Bone Fragments x1.
• Yuleklapp (Medium)
  • This item has 2x1 item slots for storing other items.
  • Craftable with Finewood x3 & Dandelion x1.
• Yuleklapp (Large)
  • This item has 3x1 item slots for storing other items.
  • Craftable with Finewood x4 & Raspberries x1.

Once the Yule event is over, your crafted items won't be erased. They'll stick around even after the holiday season has passed. However, if something destroys your decorations, they will be gone permanently. Then, sadly, you'll have to wait until next year to craft some more. Make sure to craft your gear while you can! Maybe throw in a few extras and wrap up a few gifts for your friends with some Yuleklapps to really embrace the giving holiday spirit.
