How to Get the Megingjord in Valheim

Valheim Haldor Megingjord The Megingjord is a powerful accessory only acquirable by purchasing it from the merchant, Haldor, in his camp at the Black Forest biome. However, it’s important to mention that the location of Haldor’s camp is different per world seed. Nonetheless, players have a better chance at finding Haldor by looking into his camp’s one of 10 possible spawn locations. Note that this location is permanent for each world seed. Once found, interact with Haldor to buy the Megingjord for 950 Coins. While speaking with Haldor, players can also purchase other items from this merchant NPC, including the following:
  • Yule Hat (100 Coins)
  • Dverger Circlet (620 coins)
  • Ymir Flesh (120 Coins)
  • Fishing Rod (350 Coins)
  • Fishing Bait (10 Coins)
  • Thunder Stone (50 Coins)
  • Egg (1,500 Coins)
  • Barrel Hoops (100 Coins)
Note: Valheim server administrators and those in single-player mode can use the spawn item command (use item ID BeltStrength) to give themselves the Megingjord without looking for Haldor.

Megingjord Effects in Valheim

Valheim Megingjord The Megingjord Belt is an accessory in Valheim, which means players can only equip this item in the appropriate slot. Once equipped, it grants the wearer “superhuman strength,” increase the weight capacity by an additional 150. However, Valheim only offers one accessory slot for its players. So, players can’t equip other items in the same equipment slot, such as the Wishbone and Wisplight. Equipping the Wishbone can sometimes produce green particles surrounding the wearer, indicating that a buried item is nearby. On the other hand, equipping the Wisplight lets the wearer navigate the Mistlands better by clearing the nearby mist surrounding the player.
