V Rising 1.0 allows vampires to create massive, grand castles. However, you can’t call a castle “complete” if it doesn’t have a roof. We’re here to help you in that regard as we give you this guide on how to build a roof for your castle in V Rising 1.0 so you can make the most of your humble abode.
How to Build a Roof in V Rising 1.0

Vampires can build a roof in V Rising after meeting some specific requirements. These necessities are the following:
- Trigger the “Building a Castle” quest, which comes after completing the objective that requires you to build a Tannery
- Have a room in your castle that can support a roof
- Ensure this room has complete flooring, reinforced walls, and a reinforced entrance.
Once you've fit these requirements, the game asks if you want to add a roof to the room. Confirm, and V Rising will add the rooftop automatically.
It’s worth mentioning that the size of the roof depends on the room’s size. Thankfully, adjusting the room’s dimensions extends or shortens the roof without incurring any extra costs.
