Terraria Lucky Clover: How to Get, Effects, & more

Posted on by cade-davie
We all have bad luck sometimes, and that's true within the world of Terraria as well. Your Luck stat in Terraria can affect enemy spawn rates, rare item drops, and much more. If you want to give yourself an advantage against the whims of Terraria and its RNG, you need to find a Lucky Clover. While four-leaf clovers are exceptionally rare in real life, they're not too hard to find in Terraria. Jump down below to see exactly how to turn your luck around with a Terraria Lucky Clover.

How to Get Lucky Clover in Terraria

A Lucky Clover is a rare drop, so it won't appear too quickly. At the same time, you'll eventually find one as long as you keep on chopping those blades of grass. The best way to farm for a Lucky Clover is to do your lawn mowing while exploring the world and completing other tasks. Terraria Lucky Clover In-Game image Once you finally find a Lucky Clover, all you need to do is place it in your inventory. As a result, you'll receive a +0.03 bonus to your Luck stat. That might not seem like much, but any Luck buffs you can get are worth it. Specifically because you can stack the Lucky Clover's Luck bonus with other items that boost your Luck. Lucky Clovers don't stack with other Lucky Clovers, but they do stack with the following items and events:
  • Luck Potions
  • Lantern Night Event
  • Garden Gnomes
  • Throwing Coins into Shimmer
  • Galaxy Pearl
  • Lucky Horseshoe
  • Lucky Coin
While it might be small on its own, a Lucky Clover's boost can combine very well with other items to help you throughout your journey. Finally, never throw a Lucky Clover into Shimmer. If you do, you'll receive a Withered Clover. This will actually cause you to lose luck by 0.1. So make sure you hold onto that Lucky Clover once you find it!
