How to Get the Blade of Grass in Terraria 1.4.5

Terraria Blade of Grass Introduced during the game’s release, the Blade of Grass is a craftable pre-Hardmode broadsword in Terraria that players can craft at the Iron or Lead Anvil. Crafting this weapon requires the following ingredients: 12x Stinger, 15x Jungle Spores, and 3x Vine. Terraria veterans can deduce that all crafting ingredients for the Blade of Grass is in the Underground Jungle biome. Here, defeat the Hornets, Dragon Hornets, Moss Hornets, and Spiked Jungle Slimes to farm the Stingers. Then, cut down the Man Eaters to collect Vines. Finally, destroy the green glowing orbs in this biome to collect Jungle Spores.

Blade of Grass Uses & Crafting Recipes in Terraria 1.4.5

Terraria Blade of Grass Use Wielders of the Blade of Grass in Terraria can take advantage of its stats and effects:
  • Damage Type: Melee
  • Base Damage: 18
  • Knockback: 4.5
  • Critical hit chance: 4%
  • Bonus Effect: Each hit has a chance to poison enemies. Each swing fires a Leaf Blade projectile that penetrates an enemy’s armor by 20 points, and also inflicts 25% of the Blade of Grass’s base damage.
It’s also worth mentioning that enemies hit with the Blade of Grass’s blade or its Leaf Blade projectile has a 25% chance of receiving the Poisoned debuff. This ailment lasts for seven seconds, but may last longer with multiple hits. Additionally, the Blade of Grass is one of the crafting ingredients to create the Night’s Edge broadsword. In particular, use the following materials to craft it at the Demon or Crimson Altar:
