New Masks from the Soulmask Shifting Sands DLC

The Soulmask Shifting Sands DLC introduces four new masks: Horus – Celestial Wings, Anubis – Doomsday Judgment, Sobek – Abyss Overlord, and Amun-Ra – Glorious Hymn. Players automatically get the Horus Mask as soon as they start falling from the sky at the beginning of the DLC. Activating Mimicry Mode while wearing this mask allows you to soar through the heavens, providing offensive and defensive opportunities in combat. As for the three other masks, obtaining them isn’t as simple as getting the Horus Mask. Powerful bosses guard the pyramids that hold these masks. So, defeating these fearsome foes is your priority before you can lay your hands on the much-coveted prizes.

Anubis Mask – Doomsday Judgment

Enter the pyramid after defeating the boss to claim the Anubis Mask. In the Soulmask Shifting Sands DLC, the Anubis Mask transforms you into the jackal-headed god himself. It offers various advantages geared toward survival. For instance, activating Mimicry Mode with the Anubis Mask increases the duration of bandage effects by 50%. Additionally, suffering any status effect will instead be inflicted on the target. Killing marked enemies also raises their corpses, allowing you to have a personal army of undead soldiers.

Sobek Mask – Abyss Overlord

How to Get: Defeat Sobek, the giant crocodile boss, at the Three River Junction near the Barren Sandland Mysterious Portal. Enter the pyramid after defeating the boss to claim the Sobek Mask. Harness the powers of the deep with the Sobek Mask, one of the new masks from the Soulmask Shifting Sands DLC. Its effects focus on deep-sea combat and survival. In particular, wearing it provides a massive oxygen boost, ideal for longer underwater breathing. Also, you’ll be able to swim faster and take reduced arrow damage. It also gives a 20% critical hit buff and improved self-healing.

Amun-Ra Mask – Glorious Hymn

How to Get: Defeat the Scarab boss at the Ancient Pyramid near the Rock Lake Mysterious Portal in the northern part of the map. Enter the pyramid after defeating the boss to claim the Amun-Ra Mask. Become the sun itself as you wear the Amun-Ra Mask from the Shifting Sands DLC. Turn yourself into a solar engine with Mimicry Mode, and convert sunlight to harmful heat that continuously damages nearby enemies. Alternatively, use laser energy to expose enemy weak points, rendering foes helpless against your devastating attacks. This mask's effects can also aid other players in a Soulmask multiplayer server by providing helpful crowd control support.
