Lava Chicken by Hyper Potions is the latest music disc added to Minecraft in version 1.21.7 and features a chiptune remix of A Minecraft Movie’s famous Lava Chicken song, originally by Jack Black, who played Steve. While Jack Black’s vocals are sadly not present anywhere within the song, we do get a Villager’s humorous rendition of the lyrics instead.
The music disc itself is black with a red and white rim and center reminiscent of lava and chicken feathers.
The Lava Chicken music disc can only be obtained by slaying a baby zombie while it is riding a chicken. In other words, slaying a chicken jockey like seen in A Minecraft Movie. The baby zombie must be slain first for the music disc to drop. If the chicken is accidentally slain first, the drop is no longer possible.
Additionally, baby drowned, baby husks, baby zombie piglins, and baby zombie villagers riding chickens will not drop the lava chicken music disc under any circumstances. It is exclusive to a baby zombie riding a chicken at the time of death.
