Hytale Voidhearts Guide: Locations, How to Get, Crafting, & More

There's an enormous amount of materials, resources, and upgrades to hunt down and acquire in the world of Orbis. One elusive item that you might be in need of later on in Hytale is Voidhearts. These mysterious collectibles currently serve a very specific purpose in the game, and we'll tell you all about it down below.

Where to Find Voidhearts in Hytale

If you want Voidhearts in Hytale, you need to find and kill Void enemies. You might have seen these eerie beasts as you explore at night. You'll know a Void creature when you see one, thanks to its glowing eyes. These are all of the Void enemies that exist in Hytale so far:

Void Larva
Void Spectre
Void Crawler
Void Spawn
Void Eye

Despite the fact that there are multiple forms of Void baddies, any of them can drop Voidhearts when killed. If you're looking to farm multiple Voidhearts, your best bet is to head to an area with as few trees as possible. Some nice and open plains or desert will allow you to easily peruse the nighttime landscape for a horde of glowing peepers. At this point, Voidhearts don't have many uses. The sole reason you have to collect them so far is to upgrade your Armorer's Workbench to its third tier. Unlike the Farmer's Workbench and its heaps of upgrade tiers, this is the final upgrade for the Amorer's Workbench. Once you've fully upgraded this bench, you'll unlock the ability to craft Adamantite armor. This is also what you would need to do to craft Mithril armor, but Mithril armor is still unavailable in adventure mode via crafting. You can always briefly change your game to Creative Mode and nab some Mithril armor for free! However, when Mithril armor crafting does arrive, collecting Voidhearts and the additional ingredients listed below are what you'll need.
