This can be done by hitting the fireball with a well-timed projectile, but it is more easily achieved using a melee weapon, as this allows players ample time to ready themselves and aim where it will go. Regardless of the method used, the fireball must hit the ghast to defeat it. Only one successful return is required since the fireball does significantly more damage than the ghast’s health.
Upon successfully slaying a ghast in this way, the Tears music disc will drop somewhere beneath it. We recommend ensuring the ghast is not above any hazards, such as lava or fire, as the music disc will be destroyed if it lands in either.
