Posted on by justin
Reptile Leather is a common, Level 13 material in Enshrouded. It requires specific materials to craft and can be used to make other items, including early-game equipment. This guide shows the best farming routes for the ingredients you need, helping you farm efficiently for crafting projects.

Reptile Leather Locations in Enshrouded (Best Farming Methods)

Enshrouded Reptile Hide As mentioned earlier, Reptile Leather is a processed material in Enshrouded made from 1x Reptile Hide and 3x Salt at the Drying Rack. Each operation yields 3x Reptile Leather, and you need 16 units to craft every Version 1.0 item that uses this material as an ingredient. Enshrouded Reptile Leather Location Hunt Snapjaws for Reptile Hide, as they are the most reliable source of this material. This crocodile-like enemy lurks in the mud and tar pools of the Blackmire biome. Enshrouded Snapjaw Start by fast-traveling to the Blackmire Ancient Spire. Then glide down to the swamp basin and look for shallow water near broken piers and ruins. Snapjaws hide below the surface, so watch for bubbles and wait for them by the shoreline. Enshrouded Snapjaw Tar Pits Alternatively, travel west of the Blackmire Ancient Spire to reach the Snapjaw Tar Pits. This is a practical spot to farm Reptile Hide after clearing the tar pools around the tower. Clear the tar pits, then return to the spire to check whether the defeated Snapjaws respawned. Repeat these routes until you have the required Reptile Hides to craft Reptile Leather. Ask other players on the same Enshrouded server for faster Snapjaw clearing. Enshrouded Salt Mine Don’t forget that you also need Salt to make Reptile Leather in Enshrouded. Farm it by mining at the Egerton Salt Mines in the Springlands. Teleport to the Springlands Ancient Spire, then head northwest near the Ancient Vault – Alchemist. Use your pickaxe on the Salt nodes to collect the resource.
