This eerie seasonal adventure runs for a limited time, and it promises to deliver plenty of new cosmetics, decorations, frights, and more! We have all the info you need to know right here. When is The Scourge Halloween Event in Dune: Awakening?

When can you get into the Halloween spirit on Arrakis? Right now! The Scourge event runs from October 23 to November 2. That's 11 full days for you and your Dune: Awakening pals to collect each scary cosmetic reward that the event offers.

What's Included in The Scourge Event in Dune: Awakening?

The main attraction of The Scourge Halloween event in Dune: Awakening is a mysterious plague spreading across Hagga Basin. Folks are getting scared, and it's up to you to stop this infectious new threat. To do this, you'll have to fight the poor souls who have become lost to the disease themselves. As you head out into the desert, you can find these wandering infected throughout Hagga Basin. You'll know them by their ghastly green glow, tattered, ghostly clothing, and erratic movements. These are a brand-new enemy type in Dune: Awakening, and while they might be infected, they're no pushovers! They'll come swinging at you with all they've got, including an AOE blast-like attack. Make sure you're ready to hunt before you head out.

Cosmetics

To start uncovering the source of this new threat, you'll want to speak with Frida Maltros at a trade station. Then head out to put down the infected and collect their contaminated blood across Hagga Basin. Trade these samples with Frida, and you'll earn limited-time event rewards. These rewards include the following:

• Macabre Character Cosmetics: Armor variants to celebrate the spooky season.
• Macabre Base Decorations: Plenty of grotesque furnishings to festoon your base with a Halloween theme.
• Special Event Emotes: Some new gestures to help you emote at your friends in Halloweeny ways.
• Event Color Swatches: Dye watches for recoloring your armor, weapons, and vehicles to match your in-season attire.

Additional Upcoming Exclusives in Dune: Awakening

While these aren't Halloween-themed, there are more in-game exclusives coming soon to Dune: Awakening. First, many Dune fans are likely aware that the full-length feature film Dune: Part Three is nearly here. It releases into theaters on December 12, and if you buy a ticket through Fandango you can earn two exclusive in-game Dune: Awakening rewards. These are the Paul Atreides' Throne and the Navigator Sarcophagus. You can order your tickets now, but these rewards won't become available until mid-to-late December.
