Welcome To Hoxxes IV

This isn't a vacation, miner. You're here to work, and your office is one of the most inhospitable planets in the galaxy. Each time you head out on a mission, you'll be sent deep beneath the planet's surface. There are 11 different biomes you can encounter that demand you stay on your toes. Lava geysers, subzero winds, and electrical plants are only the beginning of your workday worries. Luckily, you'll always have a pickaxe to help you forge new paths through the terrain.

Work Together or Die Alone

While you can always head into expeditions solo, you'll always have a robot pal on your side called Bosco. However, the best way to ensure you meet your quotas and stay alive is by playing with friends. You and up to three fellow dwarves can head into the caves and select one of four unique roles. Scouts are agile wayfinders, Gunners bring plenty of firepower, Engineers have defensive buildables, and Drillers can carve a path through rock and stone quicker than you can say Glyphid Dreadnought.

Meet the Swarm

Speaking of Glyphids, consider these monstrous bugs your workplace competition. There's a whole lot of them, and they all want you and your coworkers dead. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes with plenty of different ways they can attack you. Some will fly in and abduct you, some will launch acidic bile, and some can shake the earth itself to erupt in nasty spikes. While your primary objective is getting the Deep Rock Galactic Corporation valuable resources, you'll need to blast these nasty bugs back to hell along the way. Just don't expect much hazard pay.

Upgrades, Dwarves, Upgrades!

After each mission, you can head back to your orbital command station to upgrade your dwarf and loadout. There are thousands of cosmetics, weapons, and class upgrades to acquire and make yourself stronger. Of course, expressing your personality through your dwarf is a worthwhile goal too. The best part?
