Astroneer Chemistry Lab Guide: How to Get, Crafting Recipes, & Energy Costs

Posted on by justin
Progression in Astroneer requires players to craft various stations. One notable example is the Chemistry Lab, which you can use to craft resources like Rubber, Plastic, and Diamond. So, continue reading as we guide you in how to craft the Chemistry Lab in Astroneer and all of the many useful items you can use it for.

How to Get the Chemistry Lab in Astroneer

Astroneer Chemistry Lab First, craft the Medium Printer before you can make the Chemistry Lab in Astroneer. Use 2x Compound at a Small Printer to craft the Medium Printer. Once placed and powered up, interact with the Medium Printer to craft the Chemistry Lab using the following items:
  • 1x Tungsten
  • 1x Glass
  • 1x Ceramic
Tungsten is a resource refined by using Wolframite at the Smelting Furnace. Use Quartz at the same crafting station as producing Tungsten to make Glass. Finally, use Clay, again, at the Smelting Furnace to produce Ceramic. Note: Unlocking the Chemistry Lab recipe requires spending 1,600 Bytes in the Research Chamber. Also, use the Chemistry Lab once to obtain the “Lab Rat” achievement.
