Do your best to also loot Tool Chests, garbage piles, and vehicles as you explore. How to Get a Wrench
While you can gather necessary mechanical parts without a wrench early on in 7 Days to Die, you'll eventually want one to scale up your capabilities. To get your first wrench, you can loot residential sinks, buy one from a trader if you see it listed, or, if all else fails, spec into Salvage Operations in the Perception skill tree and craft one yourself after finding a Scrapping 4 Fun magazine.
